Creature Screecher Art is the creation of Emma Shirey, an Ozarks-born Manhattan dweller who channels her love of drawing into raising thousands of dollars for abortion access funds. Creature Screecher illustrations are joyful, playful, and whimsical images drawing inspiration from the mysteries and wonders of the natural world. Here you'll find species, bodies, planets, food, flowers, drinks and more intertwining in playful and unexpected ways. In the Creature Screecher universe, wild animals dance alongside human bodies, flowers bloom from graveyards and cocktails pour into the cosmos. Many of the print drawings are derived from community prompts, supporting Emma's mission of merging a love for art and shared expression with community engagement and activism.
